The IQ’s application has advanced mapping and automation features but it’s missing no-go zones, which are available on iRobot models. Its smart-pathing navigation system provides superior maneuverability and its high-pile carpet cleaning mode cleans well, but it does have a tendency to get caught up in rug tassels. Its iHome speaker lets you operate the robot by voice commands.

In our tests, we observed that the IQ was able to handle pet hair effectively. It was able to eliminate a large amount of debris on floors that were not bare and a good amount of medium-pile rug. It was less effective with shag carpets, as it had a hard time reaching dirt and dust buried within the fibers. It was capable of maneuvering the legs of chairs and tight spaces, as well as the base of a wooden IKEA step stool. It was a bit slower on flooring that was not fully covered however, it was able to recover speed and did better than other robots we have test.

The IQ is a better choice than the iRobot Roomba 694 for most uses. It has a bigger dust bin and lasts longer on a charge, and is more capable of moving itself over obstacles. Then, you can manually steer the device around it and restart it.

The BoostIQ mode is another fantastic feature of the eufy11S. It lets you configure the robot to automatically adjust suction strength based upon the type of floor and the level of dirt. The remote control makes it simple to guide the 11S to the desired place.
